Katelyn Joy Derstine, 20, died June 15, 2006. She was
an Environmental Horticulture major student at the University of Florida. Katelyn loved butterflies.
Butterfly gardens have been established as a living tribute to her. A special website and
Scholarship have been established in her honor.

From
the first moment I saw this cloud, I immediately did a
double take. The angel image was so obvious to me. I photographed
it in July 2001 after an intense thunderstorm over the
Gulf of Mexico in Sarasota, Florida. The clouds are a beautiful reflection of the handiwork of God.
Little did I know at the time of taking this photo that
the meaning would change so much just 2-1/2 years later, as
shown here. |
