We package individual butterflies in a beautiful glassine envelope with a decorative label on one side (see designs below) and a transparent envelope back to show the butterfly.

The Butterfly Cottage

The Butterfly Cottage is an elegant butterfly release cage that can also be used to display butterflies at your wedding, reception, special event, birthday, or Quinceañera when planning a mass release.

It’s a beautiful centerpiece! The butterflies will soar skyward as the hinged lid is lifted.

The beautiful beaded latch is made with crystal and glass beads. Each one is hand crafted to match your color scheme.

When you are planning an evening event, entertain your guests with beautiful butterflies in the Butterfly Cottage. The butterflies will be fine overnight and can be released the next day.

The cottage is 13” high X 10” long X 7” deep and will hold several dozen butterflies.

• Chrysalises come in the following varieties, and are shipped based on their natural seasonal life-cycle availability: Giant Swallowtail, Polydamas Swallowtail, Longwing Zebra, Gulf Fritillary, Sulphurs, Julia & Black Swallowtail.

• All butterflies and chrysalises are shipped based on natural seasonal life cycles and U.S.D.A. and state permits.

• $7.00 each - $84.00 per dozen

• Retainer of 50% is required to secure stock for your event. Please place your order six (6) weeks in advance. In some instances, we might be able to supply stock on short notice. Please inquire.

Shipping: Via best method to your address. Delivery charges are added to each order. After your item is shipped, we will email you the shipment tracking number, if one is provided by the carrier.  Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Shipping Methods:

• Butterflies: All butterflies are shipped overnight next day air (except Saturday and Sunday). The United States Postal Service Express Mail service is our first choice due to dependability and pricing. When we ship with USPS the average shipping expense for just butterflies is $25.00. We know that shipping expenses add up quickly, so whenever possible, butterfly release cages are shipped in advance by Priority Mail. Live butterflies are shipped in sealed insulated cooled containers to insure they arrive fresh for your event. Directions are always included and instruct you to change the ice pack upon delivery and as needed until just before the release. We welcome any questions that you might have. • Caterpillars: All caterpillars are shipped Next Day Air in a sealed cooled box.

Packaging and boxing is incorporated into delivery charges.

Tax: is charged for Florida delivery at the rate in effect in the delivery county. (6% Florida tax plus applicable County surtax.) No tax is charged on out-of-state deliveries.
